Structured data inspector
Fetch one public page, parse each JSON-LD script, and list the types and property names.
This one uses a server lookup because the job cannot finish on the device alone.
How to use it
- 1Paste the full page URL, including https://.
- 2Choose Inspect.
- 3Read whether each script is valid JSON, then the types and properties.
When it helps
- See the schema types in a page's HTML.
- Catch a JSON-LD script that does not parse.
- List the property names without opening the source.
Good to know
- This is not a Google rich-result test. Valid JSON-LD does not mean Google will show a rich result.
- Briefed does not run JavaScript, so JSON-LD added only in the browser is missed.
- It checks JSON syntax and lists names. It does not validate the values against a schema.org definition.
Questions
Will this tell me if I can get a rich result?
No. It only shows the JSON-LD that was in the HTML and whether that JSON parses.
